How to play Spelling Bee Unlimited
- Build words of four or more letters using only the seven letters in the hive.
- Every word must include the center letter. You can use each letter more than once.
- Four-letter words score one point. Longer words score one point per letter. Use all seven different letters for a seven-point pangram bonus.
- Find the words in our curated list, shuffle the outer letters for a fresh view, or start another practice board whenever you like.
A few tips to get you going
- Start with familiar four-letter words, then look for longer relatives. Repeated letters often unlock words you missed.
- Shuffle the hive when you stop seeing new combinations. The center letter stays the same.
- A pangram uses all seven different letters at least once. It can contain more than seven letters and still earn the bonus.
Good questions
What does unlimited mean here?
There is no daily play limit. You can move through the curated practice boards and replay them freely. The collection is finite, so boards will repeat.
Why was my word not accepted?
This version uses a hand-curated word list for each board, not a complete English dictionary. A valid English word may be absent. Proper nouns, hyphenated words, and initialisms are not included. You can reveal the board's answer list.
Is this the New York Times Spelling Bee?
No. This is an independent word game by Roken Games. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by The New York Times, and it does not reproduce their daily puzzles or answer lists.
